Designing in the Future

Manifest

Buildings are more than blocks of concrete, sand, copper, clay, iron, bricks and many other elements. They are more than scribbles made on paper or lines that intersect the thought. They are more than ideas that fail because what dictated them was tendency and not critical reasoning. It is the purest symbiosis between uninhabited nature and uninhabited space.

We understand architecture as the natural intersection between what are lines and what is organic, as the fusion of static and movement that happens in such an authentic way. Architecture is a path that must be followed with a focus on detail, material, study, the space in which it is located, and the value it will bring. This area shows that each object is made of many others and that each of them has the noble ability to transform into many more.

At AM Fusion Lab we defend that not everything is created. There is room for us to go further, to offer differentiating, inspiring solutions, created with materials that meet high sustainability requirements and that are achievable representations. We deviate from dogmas. We have to think and build better. We focus on the time we allocate to each detail. We rely on the use of differentiating technologies and methods. We combine inspirations, ideas, sensations, concepts and deliver real projects that respond to what we believe architecture to be: a fusion of art and technique.

Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto in 2014. He collaborated in several offices, such as Central de Arquitectos or Floret Arquitetura, where he developed residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and schools' architecture projects, in national and international territory. In addition to the development of modern projects, he was responsible for forming teams in BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology.

In 2020 he completes his international master in BIM and also works as a consultant in this area. This methodology works with three-dimensional models, which also serves as a repository of construction information. Allows errors to be minimized, streamlines the necessary parts, and improves coordination between specialties. Assists in the creation of 3D images of the project, allowing the client to easily visualize the future work.
