Being away from all the noise, pollution and stress that come with living in big cities is a way of taking care of our mental health and our planet. We hope to provide that to our guests, as well as sensitize them to the power of nature and healthy construction practices.
This project is planned to be a refuge for the mind. Nature can improve mood and generate positive emotions, such as joy, calmness, helps lower leves of stress and anxiety. Our intent was to create an atmosphere that could help the healing process, building a forest where cottages are lost in the green scenary.
As the health of our planet is linked with our own health, this entire vacation property was designed to be off-grid with a zero-net strategy. Designed with economical and sustainable materials, such as wood, like White Spruce and Balsam Popular, frequently found in Alaska.
